Founder Bio

Creative Spark founder Rob Heighington is a live-with advocate for people struggling with mental health.   A former Fortune 500 (top 50) Chief Information Officer (CIO) for GPC International, Omnicom Group – https://www.omnicomgroup.com/ ‘Rob brings a pragmatic acumen for collaboration and getting things done.  A natural leader, he has acted as a mentor, advisor, and coach.  Rob freely shares his insights, best practices, and learnings with the Not For Profit sector.’  He lives in the Canadian Rocky Mountains with his wife and miniature schnauzer Beau.

I recently returned from Eastern Europe in support of the Creative Spark Poland Project. Please check out our Poland Project Report as well as my personal experience.

Going forward my passion remains to support those struggling with mental health – Please see Mountain Mondays. Also, another project is what I call Brown Paper Sketches (BPS). My intention is to complete 150 BPS this year.
